Founder and CEO, Sergio Villasenor started Elliot with one goal in mind. That was to provide brands a true omnichannel solution that enabled them to not just connect and better manage their Customers and Products, but to also make their organizations smarter and more efficient.

After spending the last decade working with mid to large market brands, he noticed several gaps in how they were able to manage their Customers and Products. Siloed channels and an abundance of technology systems made change cumbersome and created a fragmented customer experience for many retailers.

Sergio Villasenor

Founder & CEO

Sergio has helped guide some of the world’s most leading apparel, beauty and footwear brands, powering Omnichannel strategies in over 50 countries to-date. Automating the aggregation and distribution of data across various emerging markets and marketplaces. Pioneering an agile OmniPresent approach and methodology that provides retailers quick-to-market, full end-to-end customer experience solutions validated by analytics, data and research.

In the last decade, he has worked in various capacities with the following retailers: Anastasia Beverly Hills, Buscemi, Derek Lam, J Brand Jeans, John Varvatos, Juicy Couture, Moods of Norway, Rag & Bone, Sonos, the Frye Company and dozens more.

Lea Solimine

Brand & product marketer with experience in managing some of the world’s largest and most-loved brands at Procter & Gamble and Unilever; most recently serving as the Head of Marketing at Lyft. Lea has launched multimillion-dollar innovation projects and advertising campaigns across international markets with proven results.

Joey Spanjers - Elliot

Joey Spanjers

Head of Growth

Joey is an active member of the L.A. entertainment, fashion and tech community. Early in his career he spent his time working with Mark Burnett producing shows like Survivor, The Apprentice, and Shark Tank.

As the digital media landscape took shape Joey saw the opportunity to work more directly with the brand and content creators to reach audiences in a whole new way. This viewpoint led him to work with Encompass Films, a LA based production company, and Amplify.LA, a local tech accelerator.

From there he focused on growing eCommerce brands in the active lifestyle and apparel space. He is the former Head of Partnerships for Hawke Media. Now he focuses on taking brands globally and building brands that focus on Content + Community + Commerce.

Joey is a founding member of a global commerce platform called Elliot. They are simplifying commerce for SMB to Enterprise size brands on 6 continents and in over 150 languages.

He is also avid outdoorsman, when not found growing his beard, Joey enjoys fly-fishing and snowboarding.

Hass Johnson - Elliot

Hass Johnson

Head of Revenue

Hass comes to Elliot with over a decade of experience in ecommerce with a unique combination of SaaS and Logistics experience from his time at Newgistics, Shopgate and Bigcommerce. Hass has worked with global brands like Victoria’s Secret, AT&T, H&M, O’Boticario, Kohler and Dupont. At Newgistics, as Director of Client Development, Hass lead a team of rockstar Account Managers to grow a book of business of $250M. Before that he helped build the strategic sales teams that helped move Bigcommerce up market and then moved to Shopgate as VP of Sales to help grow their US sales by 8x.

Jessica Walters - Elliot

Head of Program Management

Jessica specializes in the implementation and execution of strategic goals through process creation and program management previously working with Fox Commerce. With an increasing focus on eCommerce technology, she has demonstrated success in managing the collaborations between technical, product driven teams and business development organizations in high-growth start-up environments.
